HOW LONG HAVE YOU WORKED IN RETAIL?
I’ve worked in retail for just over 4 years. After graduating from university studying Fashion Communication, I have specialised in both womenswear and menswear. My main specialism at university was styling and graphic design and as I develop my knowledge, I love seeing how my work is portrayed in a business.
WHY DID YOU WANT TO WORK IN FASHION?
The idea of individuality and expressing yourself in your own way excites me! I appreciate the processes in fashion, from start to finish and the hard work that goes into everything. Fashion is a big part of everyone’s life!
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE OUTFIT OF ALL TIME?
Trousers are my go-to! From day to night time, I find myself always going for trousers no matter what. They are so diverse! You can style with a t-shirt and trainers or bodysuit and heels.
WHO IS YOUR CELEBRITY STYLE ICON?
I love using Instagram bloggers as my style icons! Emily Cocklin is someone I instantly look at if I’m struggling to find anything to wear or for style inspiration.
WHO IS YOUR GO-TO DESIGNER OF OLIVIA MAY?
There are parts of each style range that I like, but my main designers are Malloni and Mama B. The tailored sportswear looks of Malloni are so strong and on trend. Mama B’s comfy pieces are perfect for any occasion and easy to style.
WHICH STYLE STAPLE CAN YOU NOT LIVE WITHOUT?
You can’t go wrong with a great pair of trainers! I wear them for just about any occasion. I’m constantly on the lookout for more trainers, even though I have enough.
