*We aim for all orders to be dispatched the same working day if you order before 2pm Monday to Friday.
UK- All orders are dispatched free of charge using DPD Next Working Day* as default and may require a signature upon receipt of the goods.
International- All international orders are dispatched free of charge using DHL as default and will require a signature upon receipt of the goods.
During seasonal peaks e.g. Christmas, New Year & SALE periods please allow up to 3 working days for your order to be dispatched on your designated service. You will receive regular email and SMS text services including your order’s expected time and day of delivery from both Olivia May and the selected courier service.
Need an item at a specific date / time?
Should you require your item on a specific date and time, we can arrange this when placing an order via an Express Priority service. This request can be selected at checkout and emailed as a note when processing order. Please note there is a small charge for this service.
DPD | The Process
Once your order has been successfully completed and is ready to be sent you will receive an email from us confirming the successful dispatch of your parcel(s).
DPD will then contact you via email and SMS text message (if a mobile number has been provided) to confirm your 1-hour delivery window. Please note that this service is only available to UK mainland customers. DPD offer our most flexible service to UK and European customers.
If there is no response when DPD try to deliver your parcel, a card will be left giving you the option to re-arrange collection. They will re-attempt to deliver your parcel up to two times after which it may be returned to your nearest local DPD collection point, or in some cases to Olivia May.
If your assigned date/time is not convenient, you can reply to the email or SMS to rearrange a more suitable delivery option.
Please note due to courier restrictions, we are unable to ship to some areas of the UK on a next day or weekend delivery service.

Collect from a DPD Collection Point
You can choose alternative options should the estimated delivery date not be suitable, these include to leave with a nominated neighbour either side or ‘in your safe place’ at your discretion. We will never leave a parcel without permission to do so. Please note that if you select this option, Olivia May and DPD does not accept responsibility for any loss or damage that may occur once it has been delivered.
If you won’t be in for your delivery or wish to collect from DPD Collection Point this can also be arranged. DPD will show your nearest location, they will contact you to let you know when it’s ready to collect and how long you have to pick up your delivery. Please note if not collected within the required timeframe, it will be sent back to the DPD depot and be returned to us.
To collect your parcel from DPD Collection Point you will need to bring:

Olivia May cannot cover the cost of collections from your local depots or collection points should the receiver not be available on delivery.
DHL | The Process
Once your order has been completed and is ready to be sent you will receive an email from us confirming the successful dispatch of your parcel(s).
DHL will then contact you via email and/or SMS text message (if a mobile number has been provided) to confirm your delivery window. Where available, you’ll be able to selected a timed window to receive your order. DHL offer our fastest ever service to international customers. You can customise your delivery should the estimated delivery date not be suitable, you have the option to select another date within 5 working days.
If you’d prefer not to sign for your delivery, you can waiver the signature requirement. Please note that if you choose to remove this, Olivia May and DHL does not accept responsibility for the security of your order once it has been delivered and cannot be held responsible for and loss or damage that may occur.

If on vacation - you can request DHL to hold your parcel for up to 30 Calendar days until your return and have it redelivered
Security and Liability
Our couriers ensure that your goods are correctly signed for thus ensuring that your parcel is in safe hands. Olivia May does not accept liability for any delivery instructions issued to the delivery company by the customer. If you leave instructions requesting a parcel to be left in a location (e.g shed, garage, neighbour etc) we cannot accept responsibility if you fail to receive your parcel.
If your order is returned to sender due to multiple unsuccessful delivery attempts, you will be liable to pay the return delivery charges to UK.
As a small business we are reliant on the DPD, DHL & Royal Mail postal services. We do our upmost to ensure the above methods and timings are met.
Your purchase is insured if your parcel is lost/damaged/stolen whilst in transit and under the care of the couriers. Once the parcel is signed for then it is no longer covered under this agreement and the responsibility of the parcel and its contents falls to the recipient that signed.
To avoid delays to your order, please ensure that your billing address matches the address on your card statement and that the card holder's name is written as it appears on the card. Please ensure that your contact details are filled in accurately so that we can contact you if necessary.
Payment By Credit Card
If you request delivery to an address other than the credit card statement address we reserve the right to delay or cancel despatch unless the delivery address can be verified. Our secure credit card processor does not disclose credit card or personal details to us.
You have the right to cancel your order. Should you wish to cancel your order for any item purchased on this website, please notify us as soon as possible via email email@example.com. On an occasion whereby your order has already been dispatched please refer to our Returns Policy below.
If you make a purchase that qualifies for a discount and you wish to return or cancel the item, you will receive a refund that includes the discount originally given. If you make a number of purchases and return one or some of the items, the discount will be a pro rata percentage of the discount originally given, based on the cost of the item(s).
