Alquema is proudly Australia owned and operated by founding director, Virginia Rouse. The culmination of over two decades of experimentation and refinement of form, texture, composition and colour. Originally introduced to the art of shibori in the 1970's, Virginia has evolved this ancient Japanese craft and alchemically blended it with modern construction techniques - creating distinctive, timeless, silhouettes.
Their strong silhouettes and bold colour palettes encapsulates a fashion forward collection for the modern woman.
